All Hail Empress Bellenger!
A magnificent depiction of the Roman Empire as it really was, full of treachery and deceit as men let their ambition exceed their morals. Of course there was time for romance and the occasional dismemberment of Roman nobility. This book kept me constantly enthralled; each new development shed new light on the conspiracy that captivated me from the first page. The spiritual ending brought closure and made it an all around good read. Thank You! Recommendation: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Ashley H. is a reviewer Poet and content editor.

This is what happened!
My girlfiend made me read "68 AD". I havent read any fiction for about 10+ years. WOW. The book is alive. It really is good! I want more! With only a few twists on real history, these are realistic people, in realistic situations! I expect this "68 AD" to be made into a big budget motion picture

A Roman adventure
After Neros death, there was much chaos and confusion in the Roman government. The author has taken this period in history and woven it into an adventuress novel.Valarian struggles both mentally and physically to retain the throne and be a good emporor after elected. His father, emperor of a few days, has been assassinated. Valarian seeks revenge on those responisble. At ths same time those who killed his father want to take the throne for themselves. The author goes into detail and fleshes out her characters quite well. She is able to put you right into the middle of the action and creates situations that would have likely happened in that period of Roman history. I enjoyed the story very much and thought the ending quite unusal.
