 Marcus Major is Most Worthy
Were do I begin. This book grabbed me from the very beginning. I actually started reading this book on the way to Mr. Majors booksigning and couldnt wait to finish it. He said to me at the signing that he thought the best part of this book was the revelation of what had happened between John Sebastian and Josephine (Flowers) Prescott, some 7-8 years prior. I must give him credit cause the book kept you wanting for more. The characters are so real, you can relate to them. You feel their pain, everyday struggles in the workplace and most definitely the love flowing from the pages. The John, Josie and Darren story was wonderfully told. The friendship between Glo and Jo, Jules and John outstanding. Nakira, out of the mouth of babes, what can I say!! Mr. Duke, a loveable character from beginning to end. Even bringing Ibn back for a minute, too cute. If youve never picked up a Marcus Major book before you are definitely missing out. Marcus Major has done it again!! Cant wait for your next piece of work. Much continued success.

an author most worthy
A man most worthy is Marcus Majors 3rd novel. This book features new characters that I have no doubt we can all related to.( an old favorite that weve been missing :)) The main characters of the book are John Sebastian, a wealthy, 30 something male who has everything except a love he cant forget. The other unforgettable character is Josephine Prescott, who is in a marriage that she is not so sure about.
The book is very well written. The story line is excellent. Marcus knows how to get and keep your attention from the first page to the very last. No other author I think can compare to his style and imagination. This book is funny, it is full of drama, the characters are complexed and REAL. You will find yourself laughing out loud. its incredible how a male author can write about and understand the women psyche so well! Amazing!This book is for "GROWN FOLKS" however. It tends to be very sexually graphic.
The only bad thing is now we are going to have to wait another year or so for another one of Marcus gems. Because this book is so funny, extremely REAL, with characters that we can relate to, for believing in and writting about the true essence of love, Marcus Major is definitely AN AUTHOR MOST WORTHY! Pages Readers group enjoyed this heartwarming story about friendship and love. A Man Most Worthy by Marcus Major is a funny, smart novel that details the lives and evolving relationships of old friends and lovers. While we would have liked the author to share more about the transformation that occurred within the main character John Sebastian, we still appreciated the wit with which Majors describes the conversations and emotions between his characters. Majors manages to "tell it like it is" with a style that keeps the reader entertained from beginning to end.
