I have used the Classroom in a Book to learn Photoshop in the past. I really enjoy these lessons. I havent started using the Creative Suite lessons yet but after browsing through the book expect the lesson to be fun to learn.

For Experienced Users Only

As a new user of this or ANY such program, I find that this book does not cover the basics. It was used in courses that I took to learn desktop publishing because of job requirements. Its pretty much monkey see, monkey do if you have no experience with this program. You dont learn the reasons why youre following the steps or how to decide which procedures apply when youre working on your own vice working with the lessons provided. Im looking for a book that gives you a foundation for thinking things through, and this is definitely not it.
